In June 2022, our Wendi was transported to St. Mary’s and through the quick and thoughtful work of Emergency Room supports, nurses and doctors, received an initial diagnosis that would change her life, and ours as a family. We are confident that St. Mary’s was the right place for Wendi to be on this day, and as a family we could not be more grateful for their care and commitment to supporting Wendi at each step of her health journey while at St. Mary's. This year, on the 1 year anniversary of that hospital visit, Wendi is sharing her story to highlight the importance of funding critical diagnostic equipment to empower future early and life-saving diagnosis’s in our community.
